Which birth control?

I'm  a mom of two boys I just gave birth to my second one on December 7th.Today I had my pospartum visit and ended up getting the depo shot,I've never used birth control besides condoms and was wondering which one you ladies prefer. I've heard that depo makes you gain weight and that's what I don't want since I'm still working on losing my baby weight. What would you recommend that has less side effects?

I preferred the nexplanon implant. It goes in your arm and you dont have to worry for 3 years. The only thing I didn't like was for about the first 4 months my cycles were irregular or I missed 1 completly. But after that my cycles were regular and I didn't have any issues

I love my IUD but didn't like Depo

Absolutely loved my iud, help control my anger because I didn't get a period at all, and never really used a condom, never got pregnant out  of the 3 years I had it. However when I got it removed, it took a little over 6 months to conceive. I will be getting it again. I tried pills and they just gave me headaches real bad and made me bloated all over.

I bled for 6 months straight on depo going to my drs tomorrow for contraception I’ve heard some good things about the patch ?
