i’m so confused

My boyfriend texted me that a female friend is coming over to his place to spend the night due to family issues at her home.

He simply told me this without asking for my opinion first. I told him that I would not like that for obvious reasons, but he got angry, asking me why I can’t just help a friend out.

He is also saying that it is his life and that he can make his decisions by himself.

First of all, she could’ve asked anyone else, and second, why did she have to ask him whom she already knew was in a relationship?

Anyway, she ended up staying over.

Am I wrong for not wanting her to stay at his place for the night?
