Dry scalp help?

My son has such a dry scalp! A few weeks ago I put coconut oil on his head and used a comb to lightly get all the dry skin off but it’s already starting again. I only wash his hair 3 times a week and I use hello bello shampoo so I don’t think it’s related to washing. Any tips?

My baby had this. Used the thick baby aquaphor lotion. It made his head greasy but it went away completely after about a week and so far hasnt come back. I will put a tiny little bit on after every bath just to keep his head moisturized

My son has the same issue. I was doing coconut oil with his baths and it would help for a day and then look worse. I just started using Alba Botanical non-petroleum Jelly and it seriously made it so much better with just one use. Makes his head greasy and it smells a bit funny but I’d rather have that then the crusty look he’s been sporting.

My son has this same exact problem and I’ve tried the coconut oil also. I just keep doing it. Some days it’s flaky some not
