How do you leave?

How do you leave when you signed a one year lease together?
How do you tell your parents AGAIN that it was just another disappointment to add to the books?
How do you move on and have hope to find someone when you're 27?
How do you become happy again when it seems when you're destined for unhappiness?
I am so drained.

27 isn't old at all!! Like half my friends met their husbands/wives at that age or older. So don't stress out on that account! I'd just say do some introspection & figure out what you're learning from this & prior relationships that didn't work out: what traits are really important?, what traits do you need to avoid?, what (if anything) can you do differently (could be changing where you look to meet people, slowing down moving-in timeline, whatever)?.... Then keep those things well in mind when you feel ready to get back out there!

Are your parents judgemental? You're still young, it's not too late. If you keep running into the wrong men, take some time for yourself and stop dating . Learn to love yourself and create standards amd figure out how to spot red flags that I'm sure you see, but unfortunately let slide. Time for higher standards

Speaking from experience, the phrase “you have kids a lot of frogs before you meet Prince Charming” is true. I got married at 24 and hoped to have kids at 26. I was divorced at 28. Don’t just settle down because it fits into some time frame in your head. Live your life, have fun, and it will all come together when it’s supposed to.
