Zymōt Slide. Does anyone have an experience with this? Also, does this IVF experience seem weird?

Just a week ago we found out that our first IVF attempt failed. We had 5 eggs retrieved, all were fertilized and 4 out of 5 looked amazing on day 3. They all arrested before making it to blast unfortunately. Our doctor is saying he believes we have a hidden male factor issue and that’s what caused this. He has suggested giving IVF another try but using a new product call Zymōt to sort my husband’s sperm.

As you can imagine we are very reluctant to move forwards cause it’s a lot of money to spend on something that isn’t a sure thing.

Recently I have done a lot of research but haven’t found many personal accounts of using this device as it just came out last year. I was hoping I’d find some women who have used it here 😊

Also, my doctor is saying that this is what is causing our infertility. Is there a test that can be done to test fragmentation? Shouldn’t that have been done before we spent all that money on IVF? What’s really strange about all of it is that my doctor offered be another round at a tremendously reduced cost as well as offering to help me with about half of my meds. It’s so weird to me that they want to help so much. It is a “for profit” industry. Idk if I’m just being paranoid or not but it seems like something went wrong on their end and they’re trying to right their wrong. I know plenty of people who have paid full price after failed cycles.
