I got diagnosed with GD this pregnancy and was wondering did you make it to 40 weeks? What difference does it make in pregnancy besides of course having high sugar levels? Do you have baby earlier? What health issues does it cause?

I'm taking meds glyburide/micronase 2.5 mg twice daily. My dr has me checking it at fasting, breakfast, lunch , & dinner with every two hours after I eat. Some days I have it low at 61-73. He said when it's at those numbers to drink a small cup of juice or suck on a piece of candy. The highest I've had it was at 190 one time due to me forgetting to take the pill and drinking coke at a family gathering. Other than that I've had my sugar levels at 61-110.
