What’s this mean

I looked at my phone account cause I been suspicious etc about how secretive my boyfriend is being with his phone. He is texting a girl... a lot. I don’t understand , he texts one number for her then she replies back on a different number and also he will text her on one number and then text the other number back to back Whats this mean
