Testing Out- what should a newbie know?

I am 6 days past my IUI and tested for the first time today. It is very white! Not even a hint of a line! What does this mean?

Did you have a trigger shot?  If you did then it means it’s out of your system. If you didn’t have the trigger shot, in my opinion, it’s too early for it to mean anything other than you aren’t currently pregnant (but doesn’t mean this cycle didn’t work)

That probably means the trigger is out of your system. Test again in a few days. If you notice the line getting darker, then you’re pregnant! I tested every day from trigger to my BFP to eliminate a “false” positive from trigger. I recommend getting some cheapie tests lol. Or you could just wait until the day of your expected period and test. At least you know trigger is out of your system!
