So this is the only thing I’ve found that says it can happen later. I had a positive ovulation test 3 days before my BBT Rise so I was wondering if anyone else has come across this?

Yep. Lots of research to show that it often takes 2-3 days. So if you do OPKs, they are usually more accurate as to timing as long as you see a temp rise within three days.

Yup. More than half of my charts it took an extra day or 2 to rise after ovulation. I know this because I used opks, tracked my cm (which is dry the day after O), and I get ovulation pain the same day every month. So typically my temps didn't rise until 2-3 days after my positive opk. It doesn't matter which day you ovulate, as long as you know it's your fertile window and you're having sex during that time. You know you can stop having sex once you do get those 3 higher temps that say you did ovulate.

I had three days of positives (peak the middle day) both apps said the third day was ovulation and I had my BBT spike the following day
