This period is actually going well...

I listened to a meditation a couple months ago that's not menses-related, just a general body scan. At one point it says to notice a "letting go, deep in the pelvic region." Well I was coincidentally listening to that meditation nightly before my period started and somehow that gentle idea of 'letting go' actually helped ease the pain. That time I also took tylenol, but only to get rid of a normal amount of pain... not the mind-blowingly awful pain that periods had come to be....

So the following couple months I have done the same thing, when cramps come I envision letting go in the very center area of my pelvis, I breathe and do what my intuition tells me to do (drink water, rest, stretch, etc.) and this period is so far the easiest one I have had in 2 years.

I also was able to start taking my multivitamin again and I know that helps, too, with iron levels.
