Chemical?

Question

How many weeks is it considered a chemical? I had one 3 weeks after conception, so that would’ve made me 5 weeks? I don’t know how to count how many weeks I was as I have irregular periods. If I was 5 weeks pregnant is still considered a chemical? Or miscarriage?

I'm so sorry for your lose, It's a miscarriage, A chemical pregnancy is an early pregnancy loss that occurs shortly after implantation. Chemical pregnancies take place before ultrasounds can detect a fetus, but not too early for a pregnancy test to detect levels of HCG. Before 6 weeks... But depends. They usually call it chemical, if it happens before placenta is formed and heart is beating.
