It happened so fast and omg I’m still so sick to my stomach over it. My poor sweet baby. I was doing dishes in the kitchen and baby was crawling around playing with cabinets and stuff. I had to pee so I said come on baby let’s go to the bathroom. He crawled down the hallway right behind me and into the bathroom. While I was finishing up he crawled back out into the hallway and I said hey baby wait for me. Next thing I heard was a snarl and a scream. I didn’t know the dog was in the house. I thought he was outside. I’m always so careful because I never trusted that dog. He’s my fiancé’s dog and has been jealous since the baby was born.

I ran out of the bathroom and found the baby on his stomach on the floor with the dog standing over him. I grabbed the baby and ran into the kitchen. My fiancé came running upstairs from the basement, he had heard it too. There was blood. He called 911. The ambulance and police came, we went to the hospital. Luckily the injuries are superficial. Luckily my baby still has two eyes. It was close. So close. The dog has been taken to my fiancé’s parents house. I never want to see him again.
