Hi! I posted this last night but didn’t receive any replies and really want to know if anyone else has had the same..

I had the copper IUD inserted exactly 1 week ago, it was uncomfortable and I was cramping after and have been bleeding lightly since, which was all normal. However, over the past 2/3 days I’ve had almost unbearable pains from it, some similar to sharp, shooting pains that come in waves. Even drug store painkillers are not suppressing it whatsoever. Is this normal or do I need to seek medical advice?
