Tips on co bathing ?

I want to co bathe with my baby who is 4 months. Can anyone give me any tips? Should I wait until my boyfriend gets home? I want to try it before I go back to work here in a couple of weeks but I want to be very safe about it.

The first comment there is unnecessary and rude just ignore it. 
For the first time you should have your boyfriend there just in case, but practice it as if he wasn’t there at all. Get your towels ready, have the bath filled beforehand, get in together and out together and best to dry baby first before yourself. Maybe have a changing mat on the floor or something to put baby on with a towel until you’re dried too. Practice makes perfect! Enjoy 😊

Pretty common sense stuff. Just hold your kid... don’t, submerge their face... don’t drop them, don’t sit on them... like... what are you asking?

My husband is always home and he helps with undressing baby. I’m already sitting in the bath. I tell him when baby is done, hubby comes and picks him up with the towel and I finish the rest of my bath. Husband dries baby and puts pjs on him 👍

I would love to do this in the future but I think I would like my bath water too hot for a baby to handle lol.

I bath with my baby (8weeks) but I have my husband at home at the time so he undresses baby and hands him to me then when we're done he takes him and dries him while I finish off (emptying water drying self etc) 
I could probably do it alone but feel a bit worried if I slipped stepping over the side in or out or if baby wriggled too much while they were slippy wet x

I did this with my daughter :) i always brought jer bouncer in right beside the bath and layed a towel out on it befors hand so i could quickly wrap her up. To make it a little easier i would keep her in the bouncer at first in just a diaper while i quickly washed my hair and had the bath fill while i did that so i could be done the tricky parts before i brought her in. I also brought her bath seat in the bathroom just in case i was going to have her sit infront of me while i washes her or myself. I also used the seat so i could hop out first and get dressed while she stayed in the bath. Then i got her out and had all her things in the washroom!

I used to sit my daughter in her bouncer right next to the tub, then I would get in first and then I would reach over the edge of the tub to get her in. Just make sure the waters not too hot, and don’t fall asleep, just basic common sense stuff. You can lay her on your chest, or on top of your legs so you can scoop water over her.￼
