Dear Girl,

We will be believed,

If not by the court or police,

We will believe you,

We will help you,

We will all be stronger together,

Dear girl,

You see it on the news,

You hear it in school and work,

You feel the abuse inside and out,

Justice will be served,

But we need to fight for ourselves,

You are heard

You will be safe one day,

We will always be stronger than

Men,

Dear girl,

It’s not your fault,

Make the choice to speak out,

Make the choice to be heard by them,

This is the future of us.
