Would you attend a “young marrieds” group if you fit the description below?

Not trying to be rude. I’m just wondering.

At our church we have many small groups for lots of different things (some women’s, some men’s, some family groups, some open groups for anyone of any age, and a few young adults groups—one specifically for young married couples.)

The current couples in the young marrieds group are all 30 and younger and married 8 years or less. The group is led by a couple in their late 40s who have been married for 25 years.

There is another couple who has shown interest in the group. But they are 47 and 67, married for over 20 years. Is this odd to anyone else? Obviously they would be welcome to the group, but I feel like there are so many other opportunities for them to get involved that the young marrieds group seems like a weird choice since the people in it are in a totally different part of life. Sure, they can probably impart some wisdom, but they were not asked to join as leaders, so it just makes me wonder.
