Hospital or no hospital?

So here’s the thing... I swore I’d never be this person but I am so on the fence about whether or not I should go to L&D or not... pretty consistent contractions since 6p but I didn’t start timing them until about an hour ago. Sometimes uncomfortable and causing my back to ache/period like cramps. Other times just very tight and like a BH. Is this worth going in for? I don’t want to look stupid. I’m 39 + 3 and this is my first baby

Well guys... After contractions for 7 hours everything just stopped. I’m glad I was at home but I am so freaking frustrated and over this.... I thought it was time. 🙄😡

They definitely seem pretty consistent! If you aren’t sure you can always wait it out a little longer and see if they continue or get worse, or you can call labor and delivery and see what they recommend. But you could definitely be in labor !

You’re not stupid. You don’t need to feel like that. They may need to check on you to see if you’re dilating ! With my first kid I went aug 6th in the afternoon feeling just what you’re feeling and I was 1.5 cm dilated. They sent me home!... at 1 am August 7th my water broke and I went to l&d... at almost 2 am I was 2 cm dilated. At 11am 4cm ... I had my baby aug 7th 7:48 pm. Each baby is a different case. Just go if it makes you feel calmed... your baby will come when it’s ready and everything is gonna be ok💗🙏🏼 hugs for you
