Do you live paycheck to paycheck with no savings?

We used to. There were times when we had to borrow money from my dad. We bought the bare minimum and nothing else. We had McDonalds like once every three months, if we were lucky. Forget about going out for dinner and that kind of thing. New clothes, nope. I even walked to work (granted it was a far walk) just to save petrol.
Things really turned around for us when we decided to house share with my family for a few years. Our expenses for rent and that was curly down dramatically and we were able to pay off most of our debts. In this time my husband also got a better job.
Now I'm able to put away about 8% of my salary to savings every month, my husband puts away every month (he is Commission based salary so the amount he puts away varies).

Mmm we don’t live paycheck to paycheck.. but we don’t have a savings, which I know isn’t good lol. But like we have plenty left over after we pay our bills (2 car payments, motorcycle payment, insurance, phone bill. Credit cards, gas, utilities, rent..) and kids needs if any. And it’s only my husband working....

No savings, yes paycheck to paycheck. I can’t say we’re struggling because I’ve budgeted enough for us to be able to get what we need and not go without, but we don’t have any money left over at the end of the week.

I put a large portion of the paycheck into savings, so that leaves us living paycheck to paycheck. So it works, growing our savings while allocating approximately how much we will spend in 2 weeks.

We all go trough some stuffs. We used to and we are bless that my husband got fire and gave him a chance to get a better job. Como dise el dicho “Dios aprieta pero no ahorca”...  our night out was 1 hot and spicy from McDonald’s. And still had like 50c in our pocket lol... those are the time we appreciate, and keep us strong and together... don’t worry one day you will look back and just shake your head...

I grew up dirt poor. I make good money now. I never want my kids to feel financial pressure like I did so young. I contribute to my 401k and savings as much as possible each pay period to be sure every cent makes the most impact it can. So no, I don’t technically live paycheck to paycheck, but I act like I do so my kids don’t have to.

Yes. After bills are paid we don't even make enough for food or gas. Which is good that we work at our trailer park. And every Thursday harps donates food to charities and they come to my trailer park. And that's how we survive. We both work yet we don't work enough hours to qualify for food stamps. I'm supposed to be on thyroid medication but I don't qualify for insurance no more. It's hard
