The test is going by when you ovulated, but your gestational age (the way the drs will refer to your pregnancy) adds on the two weeks before. They do this because most women don’t know when they ovulate, but they do usually know when they had their last period. So you are technically only 1-2 weeks pregnant, but you’ll say you’re between 3-4 weeks....Congratulations!! 🍾🎈🎉🎊

So we just found out I'm pregnant with our First Baby 😍
I took a 2 pregnancy tests and one clear blue said 1-2 weeks. But then I've had people tell me you go from 1st day of your last period.
Can someone please explain which is correct.
As this is our first pregnancy, I'm really excited and I know it's early. But I can't help it. My boyfriend is trying to tell me not to get ahead of myself. But I am just so God damm happy and want to tell the world!
