I went to the doctor on Tuesday because I had uti symptoms but the test took 48 hours to get the results and on Wednesday I felt so miserable that I went to urgent care instead. At urgent care I tested positive for uti and got antibiotics right away. Today my doctor called me and told me that my urine sample was negative for uti.

Why would I test negative on one but positive on another?
