Drop out of uni?

Hey guys I’m looking for some advice ... I’ve been at uni around a year a half ... I’ve got 1 year left really and half a semester... but I chose a course that won’t open many doors for me, and since I’ve even back My mental health has been terrible (I was fine around Christmas and on my uni breaks but since I’ve been back I’ve been a mess) .... I want a totally different career but not sure if it’s worth dropping out of uni or waiting it out?

I would wait it out since you're so close to being done. You can always go back when you figure out what you want to do!

Are you studying in the UK? If you are then you might be able to defer a year. That way you can take time to look after yourself and decide what it is you want to do. My friend did this and is now completing her final year and getting firsts in everything. However her degree is something she is passionate about.
I would go and speak to your uni’s career advice, your programme leader and your tutor. If want you want to do is so different that your degree will literally not open any doors for you, then it might be worth switching. If the degree you would rather do is similar but not too distant, you could just push on through, but as someone who suffered terribly with my depression throughout my degree I can appreciate that this is hard. 
Make sure you get advice from careers advice, student support and your tutors before you make any big decisions. Good luck.
