So I went to the pharmacy to pick up my Nuva ring and they gave me a different kind of ring ? Why would they change my ring without notifying me first? And has anyone tried this

It's just the generic. Lots of time when a generic becomes available your insurance won't cover the name brand anymore.

That happened to me last month. It messed up my whole body! I got acne (which I never get acne) weight gain, nausea and my cramps were so bad I didn’t want to get out of bed! But they’re being forced to give those to girls now unless your doctor makes a new prescription stating you have to have the name brand.

Its the new generic of nuvaring. Its cheaperfor pharmacies to buy generic versions. If you want nuvaring go and ask.
