How long do you wait to tell spouse?

I got a faint positive today, at 9 DPO, and I just wanna know if I should wait until it’s darker to tell my husband or just tell him as soon as he is off work? Pic in the comments to show how faint. How long do y’all wait?

I shared when mine was light on my chemica pregnancy. I told him that I was definitely pregnant, but really high odds of an m/c so we should keep our hopes in check for a bit. I felt like he had just as much right to know as I did, and that in the event of the m/c we would be together emotionally to support one another. It wasn’t easy, but in the worst case scenario I was really glad I did it that way. Though the baby didn’t make it; it is our baby that exists and is in heaven and we could celebrate that together.

I waited until I missed my period so I knew it wasn’t a chemical.

I waited until 12DPO when the line was obvious and more stronger to show him! Those few days not telling him were hard though! But no regrets! I wanted him excited not questioning it x
