We have a mat in the tub. I actually have to get him to stand so I can wash his junk and his butt.

I let him. We have a mat on the bottom of the tub so he can’t slip as easy and I’m standing right there. He doesn’t do it very often and figure he ll learn cuz if he slips a little he will sit back down

If your baby wants to stand and he’s stable enough, can you just put him in the shower?

Nope! Shower is for standing, bathtub is for sitting. I say it to him when he tries to stand up and let him sit again. It works better everytime!

I use to let him for a couple seconds and he'd sit back down but he fell and it scared me so I'm becoming more strict on asking him to sit back down
