Looking for ladies who have had the birth control implant placed, it's also referred to as Nexplanon.

Some information about me: I haven't been on hormone based birth control for about 4 years now. Since then, we've been using the pull out method and morning after when necessary. I hate the idea of having to use hormones again to prevent pregnancy. I hated all the side effects the traditional pill gave me. However, we are not prepared to become parents right now but if it were to happen we wouldn't be upset. I should also say I have Hashimoto's an autoimmune disorder.

So I'm wondering what are your experiences with this implant? Good or bad I wanna hear it all. 🤔
