Has anyone used USPS package pickup?

I'm starting to have to go to the post office every single week now to ship out packages, which is really a pain since my car is not working and my husband has to find the time to take me.

I already print my own labels, so the only reason I go is to drop things off.

I see that you can schedule for the package to be picked up at your door. Has anyone done this? I live in a 3rd floor apartment and I'm wondering if they would pick it up from the 3rd floor, especially every week.

Anything else I should know before doing this?
