Normal cycle after coming of birth control

Hi

I came off birth control in november and have only had 1 period since. My cycle length was 43 days. This is longer than the stated norm of 21-35 days but I thought it was maybe just my body regulating again. However, when I tested for ovulation around the time I should have been ovulating, I kept getting negatives. Now I'm coming up to 31 days in my cycle and again theres no sign of a period. I know its early but im almost 3 months off birth control and, going off my last cycle, my cycle length looks to be longer than 'normal'. This teamed with negative ovulation tests is starting to freak me out a bit. Has anyone else experienced the same? I feel like everyone is pregnant at the moment and my friends who have had children got pregnant straight away after coming off birth control, so they cant understand my worries. I know it is still early days but I cant help worrying that theres something wrong.
