LMP or Ovulation??

Hey everyone I’m new here! My LMP was 12/22/2019 but through tracking of OPK’s I ovulated 1/13/20. So LMP puts me at a Sept due date and Ovulation gives Oct. a lot of ladies on FB said doctors go off LMP. How is everyone calculating theirs? Was yours off much when you wen yo your first scan?

I used my ovulation day when I was pregnant with my son and was spot on. LMP from what I understand is used as a starting point because many women don’t know when exactly they ovulated.

My LMP was dec 6, but I know I ovulated Christmas Day because of a peak opk and high and soft cervical position that day. Plus, we only had sex that day and the next, and my cycles are longer, usually 35 days. I used my ovulation day as my conception date, otherwise my due date has me a week ahead of where I am, and I don’t like to think my baby is bigger than it really is.

Depends on cycle length honestly. They go off lmp. And 28 day cycle. My cycles are 34 days so i just added 6 days to that and it was correct. 
example- lmp puts me at 7w1d
Long cycle puts me at 6w2d.

Use ur ovulation day. After first first ultrasound I was measuring based on that day.
