Guys I have a question. I had my second baby on 1/31/20 at 4 in the morning I have been in the hospital since the 30th. I know they like to keep you for 48 hours observation. I had a first degree tear I’m not bleeding bad and I can move around by myself. They have already cleared the baby and said she is okay. Now the question is can I sign an consent form and leave? I have a one year old at home whom they won’t let in the hospital because she’s under 12 and it’s flu season, and while I love having alone time with my new baby as well it’s killing me knowing my one year old is throwing fits all day because she hasn’t seen me in three days. The doctor on call won’t clear me and was very rude she told me to stop crying when I had asked to go home and she said no and to bond with my new baby.
