If I hold my son for his nap he'll sleep for 2 hours, but if I lay him in his bassinet for his nap he only sleeps for 30-40 minutes. I'm sure it's because he's soothed back to sleep when he wakes up between sleep cycles in my arms, and isn't soothed back to sleep in his own bed. He also sleeps INCREDIBLY well at night, wakes up one time max and sometimes sleeps through the night. I'm not complaining really, just wondering if anyone's babies sleep longer on their own for naps and if you did anything to help them sleep longer! He's swaddled with white noise just like he is at night. Thanks!
