Feedings at night?

Is my 10 week old the only Nov. ‘19 baby still waking up every 2-3 hours at night to fed? I’ve never gotten more than 4 hours of sleep since he’s been born. When should I expect 7-8 hours?

My little one was born in November 19th too! He usually goes 6 hours between feeds for the first stretch of the night, and then 3 hours after that. Notice I said between feeds and not sleeping? That’s because while he goes 6 hours between feeding, he still wakes up and fusses multiple times in between. He also does this new thing where after I feed him in the night he goes down and wakes 40 minutes later. I could literally set a clock to it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think you hit the nail on the head, they have to Eat Eat Eat during the day to sustain themselves at night. It kills me when my guy only does 2oz!

My boy started to sleep 6-7hrs around 8weeks. But now that he went through leap three his sleep schedule is all messed up and at night he is sleeping every 2-3hrs again.

Sleep is developmental. A baby will sleep all night when ready. And a 10wk old is suppose to be waking up every 2-4hrs. For one to eat and 2 it helps prevent SIDS. Your baby is still a newborn. 
My first didn’t sleep through the night until after i weaned her from nursing at 14m. Started sleeping longer stretches at 7ish months. Just have to suck it up and go with it. Sorry to be so blunt.

My daughter is 11 weeks old. She’s been at one wake up a night since maybe 6ish weeks. She now will do 6-9 hour stretches but does have an occasional night where she is up every hour.

Mine was supposed to be born nov25 but came oct.10. He going to be 4 months in 9 days. He still feeds at night but theyre dream feeds. He doesnt actually wake. I can give him a pacifier and itll do the same thing. BUT he spits out the pacifier hf way through and gets upset and actually wakes so i bf him. He does it around every 2 hrs. I co sleep right now because its so hard to get up and go to his nursery so often.

We were 10w 2d when suddenly slept all night. Previously up every four hours. It’s lasted two weeks now. Hang in there it’ll happen randomly one night and like me you’ll be up checking that baby is still breathing 😆

I have an almost-13-week-old who will just now sleep for 4.5 hours, then it’s kind of back to 2.5 and then sometimes waking every hour after that... but the long stretch is getting longer!
