I’ve had the Nexplanon implant for almost 3 years and I’m due to get it out in April 2021.

In the last year I’ve noticed I’ve gained so much weight and my body shape has changed so much! It was as if one day my shape just changed and since then I’ve been struggling with my confidence and I’m putting it down to the implant.

I’ve tried to lose the weight but while on the implant I am always hungry and just feel so angry and just want to do nothing but sit there and eat which I was never like before!

Has anybody had the experience of weight loss or body shape change during their time with Nexplanon and did you see a change when you got it removed?

Also what was removal like?
