Too sensitive?

Tonight my boyfriend and I went and got groceries and ran into one of his cousins. His cousin introduced his fiancé to my boyfriend and what not but my boyfriend just completely leaves me out. I’m seriously so hurt because I just feel embarrassed. He knows this bothers me because it’s happened before but this time hurt even more because he was introduced to his cousins fiancé so you think that he would of introduced me as well. 😔 These hormones are killing me but am I over reacting?

I’d be hurt too. Hopefully it was unintentional on his part. If it was an honest oversight, I’d get over it. If it was speaking of a bigger issue, like a commitment problem, I’d be pretty upset!

I agree with the character flaw. My now husband when we first ever went to his church these two ladies came up to us and asked him if he was going to introduce me. This ass straight up goes “no.”
So i introduced myself with a smile. When we were alone - i went sightly off on him and said how unacceptable that was and if he ever did it again we’d have a major problem. I wasn’t nice but he’s never done that again. 
I wasn’t even pregnant and it hurt. So make a big deal about it - if you really want it to change. But i totally agree with the introducing yourself... maybe he’ll get the picture that way.

If it's an honest mistake that sounds more like a character flaw than anything, and you'll have to start introducing yourself in these situations. It's not rude if you do it as if he had initiated it. 
Just say "hi and I'm the girlfriend, very nice to meet you" and if anybody thinks it's impolite, that's gonna be "it's so impolite he didn't initiate the from himself" - that's not on you. 
Or maybe we don't observe these rules anymore and nobody will even notice, I have realized that the older forms of politeness aren't fashionable anymore.
