I'm not a mom (Well I'm pregnant) but I am always looking at this parenting thread. There was a lady who talked about not allowing her 17 year old to go to his girlfriend's house and there were moms agreeing because 17 isn't ready for sex or something like that, I don't quite remember it all. In my opinion, it makes no sense. Why would it be that bad to you if your 17 year old is sexually active vs them being sexually active a few months later at 18? I commented that and a woman responded to me telling me that she doesn't allow her 18 year old to have sex either and she'll get her baptized if she does. I told her I respect her opinion but since I'm not religious I don't really know how the baptizing thing works. Then she called me a stupid atheist whose kids will be whores 😂 But anyways, I'm just looking to see how you guys feel about this. They say you never know how you're gonna deal with your kid in a certain scenario until you're actually in that scenario, but I like to think I won't freak out.
