Sternum pain

Hey! I have a question and kinda just want some opinions from people!

My appointment last week was normal. The night before I had AWFUL sternum pain (so sore that I'd want to cry when touching it) and my stomach felt all over bruised. My doctor felt around and told me that baby girl had flipped to head down (FINALLY) and that was the cause of pain. She also mentioned I'd probably be sore a couple days, but to let her know if the actual pain came back.

I was sore for the rest of the day, but nothing major at all. Woke up the next morning and it was gone.

Tonight the pain has came back, but not AS bad. Its sore to touch, but only about half as bad as before. My stomach feels tight but it always does.

Now, my question.

Would you:

-Call the on-call doctor (or labor & delivery) tonight and see what they say.

-Call in the morning if the pain is still there (and since I work at the hospital and will be there all day tomorrow) go ahead and call then. And if they want me to come get checked out, I can then call my floor and tell them I'll be late.

-If pain is gone in the morning, call and talk to my doctor Monday morning when she is back in office.
