So I’ve decided to try using a menstral cup for two reasons. I’ve seen many people using them after intercourse to increase their odds of getting pregnant. I did some research on it and everything I’ve read has confirmed that it can actually help and we’ve been trying for two years. At this point I’m willing to try anything. We’ve already tried using preseed, I’ve tried taking daily baby aspirin, I take folic acid and prenatals, and I’m on fertility treatments. I also use a clear blue fertility monitor to track ovulation. I also want to try the cup for my periods. I’m nervous but the thought of not having to buy tampons again is very appealing. I don’t mind using tampons and I don’t have any problems with them but if I can save money that I can use towards my fertility then I think it’s def worth a shot. Anyone that has used the cup, for their periods or fertility or both, can u give me some of the pros and cons and maybe some tips. I ordered the tampax brand, mainly because that’s the brand of tampons I use and because it came with a flat plastic case for the cup instead of just a fabric bag.
