Twice weekly appointments?

Did you start having twice weekly appointments after you surpassed your due date?

I don't think so. 
I've scheduled my induction during 39 week appt for exactly 41 weeks both pregnancies. I've got my 40 week appointment Tuesday I don't anticipate another appt this week. 
If my blood pressure spikes at my appointment (it did at 40 weeks with my first and was a little higher, last week). I'd assume they'd observe me to see if it's significant. I know they will induce if they confirm gestational hypertension or pre-e.

I haven’t passed mine yet but my midwife does that if you go over.

Nope I’ll be seen once a week at 38/4, 39/4, 40/4, and the 41/2 for a NST, BPP, and 41/4 for appointment, then 42/2 for a NST BPP and 42/4 for appointment at that time we will discuss induction for dates because American college of gynecology and pediatrics supports going to 42/6 as long a NST and BPP are healthy.

Never been past my due date but I would think if you do make it past 40 they’d want to start talking induction. I think after 42 weeks it starts to get dangerous for you and baby.

I have twice weekly appointments right now at 36 weeks. I have heard that after 40 it’s normal to have more frequent appointments
