My dad is still raising me at 28 😂 I’ve spent more time with him than my mom (they’re both great parents I’m just a daddy’s girl lol). He’s hands down my favorite person on this earth

I mean.... he was there. But my mom is the one who gave me love and nurtured my soul. My dad just stressed me about grades. Good intentions, but honestly he was a sorta shitty parent. Still, I can’t complain when others’ fathers were MUCH worse.

My dad left for the circus when I was a month old 😂 hasn’t parented me a day in my life. Just abused me while I raised his three other children.

My dad took us to school and paid for our school, but he had a wife and worked all the time, and didn’t have a real relationship with us. He was barely there. I still struggle with it periodically. I’m 30 now and the wound is still there.

My biological father? No, not my whole life. My mom started dating the man I call my dad when I was about a week old. And he married my mom when I was 5 months old. My biological father signed off his rights so that my dad could adopt me. I’m 35 years old and I met my bio when I was 21 yrs old. He’s been in my life since then. But my dad raised me.

My dad is a fantastic father, not just to me but to my stepsisters and my uncles (who were adopted/ fostered so pretty much the same age as us kids (and my one is still in his early 20's)).
