Doctor confirmation?

I just got my positive! When did everyone go to the doctor? For my first pregnancy I went to the doctor as soon as I got a positive and had a blood test to confirm. Is that necessary? Or did y’all just make an appointment with your OB around 7/8 weeks?
Just wondering which I should do 😊 thanks!

I got a blood test to confirm with my second. It’s not necessary but it’s great peace of mind. Then my OB likes to see people between 6-9 weeks for an initial ultrasound.

I got bloodwork done on a Monday after I had a weekend of positive hptests. After that I had to wait 2 weeks until I was 8 weeks for the first ultrasound

I go tomorrow for my “viability” appointment. I’ll be 6w1d - they do a blood draw and an ultrasound!

I found out the 13th of Dec and went on the 17th. But I was having pain on right side of my pelvis so I made a special trip for that reason

I went to the doctor to confirm through blood although most say it’s not necessary. My doctor was all for it. I went twice to confirm my levels were increasing. It gave me peace of mind
