I just recently purchased this kit since I plan on cloth diapering my LO for the first time. The kit comes with 6 covers, 12 cotton inserts, and a wet bag. I am curious to know everyone’s opinions on this product and even on covers in general. Like I said, I’ve never used CD before but I had originally planned on using pocket diapers. This is all new for me!

I’m not familiar with this kit but I’m not a fan of pockets. I don’t like having to stuff it inside. I’d rather just lay the insert in the cover. Good luck in your journey! I have a few pockets, covers and inserts, all in ones and hybrids. So I mix it up.

I have a ton of pockets & have recently started looking into the AI2 system with a cover and prefold or insert. 
It makes more sense to me than tossing the entire diaper everytime I change baby. I can let you know how it works out!

I think this is a great kit and is affordable. I would recommend you make fleece liners to help you with poop or if baby gets sensitivity to wetness. 
Covers are convenient because if baby pees you can just switch out the insert and reuse the cover (if it’s not too wet/ pooped on). 
I like pocket diapers because I don’t have a diaper sprayer and I don’t mind stuffing. Most of my pockets are mama koala which are affordable and cute. I actually have an elemental joy pocket diaper and don’t mind it at all. Works just as well as the others. When I want to try a new brand or type of diaper,  I buy one used on Mercari or the buy/sell/trade groups on fb.

I use littles and bloomz, they're pocket diapers similar to alva baby. Sometimes I stuff the insert inside the pocket, sometimes I lay it on top xx

We use Alva Baby, Babygoal, and Nora's Nursery and have had great experiences. They're pocket diapers.
