How long did it take you to conceive?

I’m 24 and my husband is 30. We’re both healthy with no known fertility problems. We plan to start trying in May and I have been on prenatals for about a month. My cycles are about 29-31 days long with confirmed ovulation every month. I have an irrational fear of not being able to conceive even though I have no reason to believe that. How long did it take you to conceive?

It took my boyfriend and I 9 months to conceive, it was also my first month of using clear blue ovulation tests

I’m 24 and my husband is 30! I have pcos. We started not trying not preventing a year ago, and then switched to actively trying 6 months after that. We are still trying! I just started letrozole so hopefully we will get our bfp. 
I will say that while apps like this are wonderful and super helpful, just be careful because they can feed into your anxiety. If you have no reason to believe you’ll struggle to get pregnant, don’t let the stories on here scare you! It takes healthy couples up to a year to conceive.

It’s taken us a year and half and counting still. Until that 1 year mark hits and you both get checked out it’s hard to say. We learned we are dealing with male factor infertility and in my wildest dreams I never thought it would be us going through this but in the end, we are and we are dealing with. Everybody is so different. Some get pregnant right away and some people can take a couple years even if everything is okay.

My husband and I were both 29. I had about 30-32 day cycles, also confirmed ovulation every month with testing, and took prenatals while TTC. It took us 8 months.

I did not try at all with my first two as I was young and not even ttc. But with the third pregnancy we started ttc in October and then just stopped worrying about it. I was pregnant by December, but at 6 weeks we lost it due to an ectopic. It’s been about 3 weeks and we are ttc again.

Mid 20s and we’ve gotten pregnant 4 times (2 successful, 2 miscarriages) and we have always conceived the first or second month of trying.

It was almost two years to the day after I stopped taking my birth control pills. I had been on the pill for 5 years, give or take, so I think that may have been part od the problem.

I was on bc for about 3 years before we started trying. It took us 6mo after I got off bc to conceive.

My husband and I were very blessed with how quick it happened. We stopped protection and trying 2 nights before our wedding in September. I found out I was pregnant December 18th. I’m 22 and he’s 26.
