Toyota Highlander. It’s an amazing suv with a very smooth ride and convenient amenities for kids. We have had ours for a few years and we have had zero issues with it, but we usually leave the 3rd row down so we have more trunk space. If you’re actually planning to use 7 seats on a regular basis I highly suggest a Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey instead.

I bit the bullet and got a minivan instead of an SUV. Even though the SUV looks cooler, I think the minivan has a lot of advantages.

I’m obsessed with my 2018 Chevy Traverse. It has bucket seats and a bench in the 3rd row.
A few weeks ago I had 4 adults, 3 kids in car seats and bags in the car for a 2 hour car ride and everyone was comfortable.

Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, or Ford Expedition. All the 7-8 seats depending if you do bucket seats and they have space in the back for strollers and gear! If you don’t want the extra trunk space look into the ford Explorer- I have one and LOVE IT. Or the Chevy Tahoe. If you have that many people the extra space is nice though.
