Friends who don’t like babies?

Question

Do any of you friends not like kids and act weird with yours? 
My best friends boyfriend doesn’t like kids and is very obvious about it. We all went out today and she doesn’t know him much so she just stared at him and he goes “it’s okay I don’t like you either”, he won’t like hold her or anything. He just makes little comments that I think he try’s to make sound like a joke.

Just because he doesn’t like kids doesn’t mean he needs to make comments like that. I’d tell him “we know you don’t like kids but you don’t need to speak to her that way”  🤷🏽‍♀️

Ugh, that really rubs me the wrong way!! I have a lot of friends that are not interested in having children but they’ve been great about my son.

I’m probably the odd one out here but I think it’s fine if people don’t like kids. The comment sounds like it was probably a joke. I don’t expect people who don’t know my baby to like or hold him, I’m not particularly fond of anyone else’s children. We have friends who do not have kids and have expressed very little interest in ours, we just plan evenings out without our child in tow.

My SIL husband only likes his kids ,he has said the exact same comment to my oldest when he was little and to baby now. It really pissed me off before now I just let it go....:my oldest won’t go anywhere near him. He also says “uncle ___” doesn’t like me but it’s ok cause I like me 🤣😭

One of my sister in law is like this. When my husband told her we were having a baby her response was "meh I don't like kids".
