So the title says it all.

A little back story. My best friend and I have been friends since we were 5. We grew up next door together and have basically hung out like every day of our lives. We are both 24 and she has been dating her fiance for like 7 years. They met in high school and have been in love ever since. He proposed to her about a year ago and they are getting married early March this year. She has literally been planning this wedding since their engagement... also I forgot to mention my boyfriend is friends with her fiance. I actually met my boyfriend through him and my boyfriend and I have been together for going on 1 and a half years now.

Now that I filled you in a bit about our lives I will get to the story.

I am her maid of honor and my boyfriend is his best man. We go out together a lot. Especially with all this wedding planning. Dont get me wrong we have our individual outings like just my boyfriend and I and her fiance and her. It's always fun tho when we all get together. It's actually been so much fun and I cannot even begin to say how great life was!!

Now all of that is ruined because of a kiss... literally all of it!

Her fiance messaged me the other day asking if we could talk. I thought it was a little odd at first, because of how the messaged looked. "Could we please talk..."

So I agreed and we met at a local coffee shop. I probably should have mentioned it to my boyfriend at the time but I think I was more concerned as to what was going on.

When I got there he began telling me he couldn't go through with marrying Katie. He then told me how he has feelings for me and he always have. I was so blindsided by this I didnt know what to do! He then leaned in and kissed me... 😟

I politely pushed him away and told him I do not have feelings for him. I love Brandon (my boyfriend).

He then began to apologize and asked me to please not tell anyone not even Katie. I told him I cannot promise that because I cannot let Katie continue being in a relationship with a man who doesnt lover her let alone marry him!

At that point I just walked to my car and left.

Like 2 hours later I recieved a text message from Katie basically accusing me of trying to get with her fiance. She told me how she is going to tell Brandon what kind of person I am trying to hook up with Chris (her fiance) and that I am no longer invited to their wedding.

I tried calling her and it went to her voicemail so I left her a voice message trying to explain what happened.

Not only that but the one person I felt would believe me doesnt either! Brandon is literally siding with them even after I showed him the text of Chris wanting to talk to me! Chris is claiming he wanted to talk with me to tell me to stop dropping sudden hints that I like him and since I kissed him and apparently tried having sex with him he was going to tell both Brandon and Katie. Chris has literally ruined my life! None of what he is telling Katie and Brandon is true!

I lost my best friend AND my boyfriend in less than a day. Idk what to do. Neither of them will listen to me or even believe me! How is it that a friendship of so long can be ruined so quickly???

**UPDATE**

So I talked to Brandon and explained my side of the story (he jumped to conclusions by just believing them) and he apologized. He believes me so he says. I did express to him that it's rather low that he jumped the gun and didnt even bother to hear me out.

He is pissed at Chris for starting this crap and for kissing me. He told him he doesnt want to be in the wedding any more and isnt even going. Katie still doesn't believe me and I am working on things with Brandon.
