And we would book it or get told to book it while in the hospital after delivery. (With our second they did a 4w pp)

When I asked I said I wanted a post partum check with my doctor - from the UK also, I didn't time the appointment so I'm assuming it was just a normal appointment. Doesn't take too long, but I had a natural vaginal delivery. She weighed and checked baby, asked questions and checked my stomach.

I just had mine at 6 weeks postpartum in the UK. I asked the receptionist and they booked me in for a longer appointment than usual (15 minutes) just with my regular GP. It was for me and the baby. With my previous baby, I just booked a regular appointment and the GP told me I should have booked a longer one but still managed to squeeze everything in.

I am in Canada and my PP check was booked when baby was born with my obgyn. With my first it was booked @ 6 weeks PP and with this baby it was @ 4 weeks PP.
