Be honest... bit of a rant too lol.
My mum smokes, I feel like when she comes to visit baby at the hospital she will either have a smoke in the car on the way there or go out for a smoke while visiting. Is it rude of me to ask her not to smoke while she is visiting baby and that if she smells of smoke she cant hold her. I dont want to be a bitch but she smoked with me in her womb and around me as a child so I ended up with asthma and I hate the smell of it. Literally yesterday I went to visit her and yes we were outside but she lit up a cigarette so I just got up and took myself inside I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant as I could smell the second hand smoke. It honestly infuriates me and I've never said anything about it, why cant she just wait! I only visit for an hour or so I cant see why she cant go without one for an hour.
Also are you making people hand sanitize their hands before they hold your new born in hospital? I'd like to know if that's reasonable too or if I'm being too over dramatic.
Please be honest, thanks!
