Thoughts on taking Elderberry while pregnant? I woke up today feeling like I’m catching something. No fever just heavy feeling in my chest and throat irritation, dry cough. My stepson is sick and had a fever last weekend and came to us this week sick. He was tested for flu and strep and it was negative. He’s very congested and coughing a lot. I went and got a batch of homemade elderberry this morning and my husband does not want me to take it at all. The women I purchased it from said she took it throughout her pregnancy and had no issues or complications. I’d rather take that than an over the counter med. I’m going call my OB tomorrow but in the mean time what do y’all think?
