Just curious

So im still ttc, havent got pregnant yet, but im really curious on what happens AFTER you get the BFP when it comes to your GP (i live in the UK) and midwives etc.

Ive always assumed you make a drs appointment to get it confirmed by blood and then they make a separate appointment to choose your midwife??? Or to meet the midwife atleast?

Someone tell me what goes on. I have anxiety and i know once I get pregnant if I dont know where to go from a positive test I'll freak out.
