Got a false positive on this test?

Could this have just been a dye run? I really thought I was pregnant again but I got my period today :( I’m just a week late.

Hmmm I would definitely probably take another test from a whole new pack, sometimes people bleed even if they’re pregnant. But maybe a dye run? Not too keen with tests

Could be a chemical.  I had one of those and it was terrible.

I would definitely retest. It could be a chemical pregnancy which I’ve had and I’m sorry if that is what you’re experiencing. Then again, I bled through most of the first trimester with my daughter. If it’s negative when you retest, it was probably just a bad test. If it shows up the same, or even a little darker or lighter, time to see the doctor.
