TMI but please help!!

so the other day me and my bf had sex like 2 days before my period started and when we were having sex he noticed i was bleeding but it wasn’t my period.. so a few days pasted and i’m on my period and it’s the worst period i’ve ever had i’m bleeding so bad like when i stand up blood gushes out of me.. should i be worried
